Itinerary

Day 1: Fayoum Sightseeing Tours Cairo

Our representative will pick you up from your Hotel in Cairo to accompany you for a visit to the famous sites of El Fayoum. Let us start our visit with Lake Qaroun, here you will see an amazing array of migratory birds . Lake Qaroun the 3rd largest Lake in Egypt and is apparantley the oldest natural lakes in the world. Time now to enjoy a lunch break. Journey onto Wadi El Rayyan which is a protected area. Here at Wadi El Ryyan which is a natural depression you have the opportunity to enjoy the fantastic Waterfalls which are connected by two Lakes. Proceed onto enjoy a visit to Medinet Madi. The main Temple was built by Pharaohs Amenemhet III and completed by Amenemhet IV and were dedicated to the Crocodile God Sobek and Serpent Goddess Renenutet. Continue on now to Wadi Al Hitan known as Whale Valley. Wadi Al Hitan is a protected landscape which contains many fossil remains of the extinct whales.

Day 2: Wadi Hitan / Back to Cairo Cairo

After enjoying your Breakfast continue visiting Wadi Al Hitan and on the way you can take the opportunity to see Mudawara Mountain. Journey onto Qasr Qaroun the remains of the Greco Roman City of Dinysios. The Temple was dedicated to the God Sobek and from the outside appearance it is very square but once inside there are rooms and staircases which lead to the roof. Not many of Egypt’s Temples have roofs and many that have do not allow access so this makes a must to see. Carry on to visit Karanis which was a town where 2 Temples were built to worship the God Sobek, Petesouchos and Pnepheros, both these Temples contain the incredible house of the Crocodile. After this fascinating tour transfer back to Cairo.

Price Policy

Our Prices are quoted in US $ but we also accept Euros and Sterling per person per trip , with the exception during Christmas, New Year and Easter holidays.If you go to the icon at the bottom of the page you can change the currencey just by clicking the button to whatever currency you wish to use.

Please note Airline Policy is as follows…If your tour includes a Domestic Flight a child 0-2 years of age incurs a $15 fee. From 2 years of age are classed as Adult.

Payment Policy

We require a deposit of 25% of the total price of the tour, exception being at peak times i.e. Christmas and New Year and Easter, then the deposit required will be 50% of the total price. You can pay the deposit by either Bank Transfer for which we would give you our Bank Account details, or you may pay by Weston Union , or online

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your bookings the cancellation fees are as follows… At least one week in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel between 3 and 6 days in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee. If you cancel within 2 days of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.
