Your representative will pick you up from your Hotel in Cairo by A/C vehicle to escort you for a visit to Wadi El Natrun where there are four surviving Monasteries.The name Wadi El Natrun refers to the 8 different Lakes that produce Natron Salt.Our first stop will be Deir Anba Bishoi , it was named after Bishoi whose body still lies in the Monastery. The early Christians chose the desert for their Monasteries because under Roman rule Egyptian Christians were persecuted. Journey onto Deir al Baramus, this is the oldest of the four surviving Monasteries and the story behind this is of the two sons of Valentinus who were tested to prove their faith. To finish this fascinating tour visit Deir El Suryani, this is the smallest of the four but is the most attractive. Upon entry you will find there are domes, staircases and balconies, and apparantley it holds a lock of hair from Mary Magdalene. Transfer back to your Hotel in Cairo.

Please note Airline Policy is as follows…If your tour includes a Domestic Flight a child 0-2 years of age incurs a $15 fee. From 2 years of age are classed as Adult.
We require a deposit of 25% of the total price of the tour, exception being at peak times i.e. Christmas and New Year and Easter, then the deposit required will be 50% of the total price. You can pay the deposit by either Bank Transfer for which we would give you our Bank Account details, or you may pay by Weston Union , or online
If you wish to cancel your bookings the cancellation fees are as follows… At least one week in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel between 3 and 6 days in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee. If you cancel within 2 days of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.
