Luxor Short Break to Abu Simbel

Once you have enjoyed breakfast and checked out of your Hotel your Guide will pick you up and accompany you on your visit to the West Bank where you can see the fabulous Valley of the Kings where there are many kings buried in this valley. Now proceed to visit the majestic Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt. After this we will carry onto the colossi of Memnon here you can take some stunning photographs. We now journey by motorboat to the East Bank in Luxor. Break for lunch. After your lunch we will proceed to visit Karnak Temples the greatest example of worship in history dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. End your tour by visiting the beautiful Temple Of Luxor. After your tours you will be transferred to Aswan which is approx.. 3 hour drive from Luxor. Once you have arrived you will be checked into your Hotel. overnight in Aswan.

After enjoying breakfast your Guide will pick you up from your hotel by private A/C vehicle to enjoy a trip to Abu Simbel . There are 2 times you can take your trip, one is at 3.00a.m. the other is 11.00a.m your choice of preference. The drive takes approx.. 3 hours. The two Temples of Abu Simbel with their unique style are considered to be the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They reflect the glory and grandeur of the new Kingdom. The Temple of Ramsses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re and to Ramsses II himself. The great Abu Simbel temple is also called The Sun Temple of Ramssess II. After this fabulous visit drive back to your Hotel. Overnight in Aswan.

Today after breakfast and check out from your Hotel your Guide will escort you for a tour to the High Dam an engineering miracle built in 1960 protecting Egypt from annual floods from the Nile. Proceed now on to visit the Unfinished Obelisk which shows how the ancient Egyptians cut the stone. It is believed this obelisk belongs to Queen Hatshepsut one of the rulers of the 18th Dynasty. We now journey onto the beautiful Philae Temple which was built in honour of the Goddess Isis. Now enjoy a break for lunch. After this you will be driven from Aswan to Luxor an approx.. 3 hour drive journeying onto Luxor International Airport for your final departure.
